Your Role
Provide commercial and administrative support to the Event Manager.
As a Meeting & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for increasing revenue by providing commercial and administrative support to the Event Manager. In consultation with the Event Manager, you will help organize events for our corporate external clients and handle all necessary administration. These events range from booking group accommodations in the hotel to planning short- or long-term meetings and events in the conference center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Based on the request for proposal, you will consult with the client and (in coordination with the Event Manager) draft a proposal tailored to the client’s needs. You will also follow up on submitted proposals.
- Once the event is confirmed, you will handle all necessary administration internally and for the client.
- You will support the Event Manager in all aspects of the event, such as programming, catering (in consultation with the F&B team), organizing parking, transportation, and accommodation at the hotel.
- Approach and secure speakers, musicians, and other performers or special guests.
- Set up participant registration.
- Maintain client communication and relay their wishes to the operations team in a structured manner to ensure all client expectations are met.
- Work with Opera Sales & Catering, ensuring all information is up to date.

Qualifications and Skills
- You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hotel Management, Event Management, Marketing, or Tourism & Recreation Management.
- You are fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
- You have sufficient digital skills.
- Knowledge of Opera, the hotel PMS system, is a plus.
